Judge Orders Changes to Measure L Opponents’ False and Misleading Statements

Once it is turned in, a ballot argument can only be amended by order of a judge if it is found to be “false and misleading.” A Contra Costa County judge found the naysayers argument to be “false and misleading,” forcing them to rewrite it. This November, beware of naysayers playing fast and loose with the truth on Measure L.
